I'm looking at buying one of the Halcyon BC systems (or MC if you want their
lingo). I'm looking at either the 36lb Pioneer wing w/ Steel BP or the 38lb
Explorer w/ Steel BP and don't know which one to get. I currently only dive
single tank, but I'm looking to start using doubles w/in the next year or
two. Almost all of my diving is Cold fresh water(Great Lakes) with a DUI
CF200 and thinsulate underwear. I normally wear 24lbs w/ an AL80. I'm a
big guy (6', 240lbs). Also, I normally carry a 30ft3 pony and use an al100
if going deeper than 80ft or doing any type of wreck penetration (daylight
zone only).

Would I be better off just getting the Explorer Wing now or should I just
wait until I start using the doubles? Even after I start w/ doubles, I
would estimate that at least 50% of my diving would still only require a
single tank.
