Why not? - there've been a few occasions when I've contemplated the
idea one would be nice, to help get down a long shotline when the
tides still pulling a bit, or to look over a big wreck such as the
Hampshire, so to get a better idea of its layout before looking in
more detail without one, or simply to avoid any exertion while in
cold deep water
