My husband and I are looking into a trip to Roatan in February. While we
can get greal deals on a hotel/diving package, airfare is looking high.
TACA airlines is by far the least expensive, but only for non-direct flights
with puddle jumpers (Islena airlines) connections in Belize City. I've been
reading a lot of horror stories about folks taking TACA/Islena and then
waiting 3-4 days for their luggage to arrive. To me, no luggage for half
the vacation would result in a very lousey time.

How many of you have flown TACA & Islena without any problems? How many
have had to wait days for your luggage to arrive???

Any other suggestions on direct flights to Roatan? Or where I can find a
hotel/dive package including airfare?
