Forest,

Since you are obviously so depserate for attention that you contact me
on e-mail from months ago after I asked your stroke self not to contact
me anymore(twice), I figure I'll give you the attention you so
desperately desire.

Can anyone reading this group corroborate the medical prowess of a
Michael J. Black MD? Forest(an appropriate name) seems to believe this
man has some sort of diving medicine expertise. Forest seems to think
this doctor has some sort of access to privileged information, but the
medical advice I seem to recall this doctor seeking, was in the form of
a letter to Dive Training magazine. Am I missing out on some mecca of
dive medicine info. in Dive Training?

Since you would like to discuss skin bends, Forest, why don't we get
together sometime to discuss it. I'm frequently at this state's(Texas)
most popular training site and you claim to be an instructor, so I'd be
happy to meet you at one of the popular Travis training sites. Also,
you previously mentioned that you go to Canyon Lake with some
regularity. I'd be happy to meet you some place like North Park. You
do dive at North Park, don't you, Forest. I will also be going to your
territory to teach a class in Dallas(not sure when yet). Maybe we can
get together then. You are welcome to observe me teaching the class,
you could probably learn something. We can discuss this in person,
since you obviously lack a certain level of electronic communication
etiquette. As an added bonus I will show you how to DIR.

By the way Forest, why the hell are you telling me to "get over"
something. I haven't had any discussion with or about Black in quite
some time. So why are you responding to an e-mail from so long ago
that I can't even remember when? You are obviously the one who needs
to get over something.

Define "skin bends"......

I'm assuming you know what "they" are.

Have you talked to any dive physiologists or hyperbaric doctors about
how
people "get" skin bends? How "they" manifest? Etc.

"DIR types" (whoever/whatever) might want to do a bit more research
before
they get into a fire fight (especially with a doctor with access to
accurate
information) over the "skin bends" topic.

You might not like Black..but you are doing yourself and DIR a
disservice
with your "black-eye" policy.

Get over your dislike of Black and continue to learn from ALL points of
reference, his included.
