hello ng!

i'm an austrian (please excuse my poor english) and new to this group. i
read the last weeks postings and i am very shocked.

the amout of libel, abusive, ignorant, intolerant, accusive, childish,
arrogant, even life-threatening(!!!) postings is really amazing! nearly
the half traffic deals with insults!

what kind of people talk in this group? is that the right level of
communicaton for adult people? it reminds me of the time i was in
secondary school!?! when you behave in real life like you do in the
newsgroup, then i don't even like to dive in the same ocean with you!

if it is impossible to write objective postings, then i'll go back to
the german group! (i know you don't mind it, if i do...). you americans
invented the usenet, but you can't use your own netiquette?

maybe there should be a new group called rec.scuba.flamewar were all
those childish flamers could play with themselfs?
