I'm a new diver living in Boston (and have read the FAQ). I know that even
*thinking* about diving from the boat is probably way premature; I will
definitely want experience before taking on the dual responsibilities of diving
& captaining at the same time. But, that said, how much experience should I
have before diving from my own boat and what issues should I think about when
that time comes?

BTW: Been reading here for a while. Thanks for all of the great information
and even more for putting new questions into my mind.
