tom, been there, done that. let me attest that the film from a brain coral
will most definitely eliminate--yes eliminate--the pain if administered right
away. fascinating how mother nature compensates, huh ? i have tried it, and it
works. here's the procedure:

after hitting the fire, don't hesitate. go find a brain coral, preferably one
that's dead or dying, and lightly rub it. if you're careful, you won't harm it
(no troll intended on this statement). if you can't find a brain coral in a
few minutes within hitting the fire, as the saying goes, fugedaboutit....use
vinegar and chalk the pain up to experience.
