Does anyone have any recommendations on good books on the physiology,
physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc. of diving? I'm a new diver (just completed PADI OW cert) and don't really need all that detail, but I'm also a voracious reader with a strong technical and scientific background so naturally I tend to get curious about they whys and wherefores of the rules, tables, models, etc. I've already ordered a copy of the U.S. Navy Diving Manual on CD-ROM. I suspect that this one five-volume set will cover more than even I want to know, but I'm interested in other recommendations. I'd also like comments on the Navy manual, since it's not too late to cancel my order. Thanks, |
