It still looks to me that the fault was your own for just saying 'here fix this' without giving nor asking for any details. It should be your responsibility to find out what is involved. If you take you take it to just be VIP as an air tank, then you would have a case, but you specifically asked for nitrox fills. You should have done enough research to find out what is involved. It appears that you gave consent to their cleaning due to the fact that you asked for a nitrox fill. Just as you stated, of course they will not do it for free. Being surprised about the bill is your own fault. For your life support equipment, you should have done your OWN research. I think that you are just bitching due to your own folly or that you are the kind of person to lay blame everywhere but yourself, especially if it would be profitable. It is this mentality that dogs our legal system. "Oh the coffee was too hot and it is their fault." I doubt that you will get much sympathy here. -- |
