My friend lost his dive watch (along with his suitcase and everything in
it) on our last trip. Unfortunately he doesn't have enough $$$ to
replace it, and he doesn't own a dive computer. What he does have is an
ironman watch (Timex brand). We've heard of people using these for
diving, and have seen it used once. What I'd like to know is would this
watch suffice for a few dives in the 60'-90' range? He doesn't want to
use it as a permanent dive watch, he just needs something to tide him
over until he can buy a computer.
