 Boat finder for SCUBA?

We did a number of great dives in the Turks & Caicos over the last few
weeks, but the visibility wasn't always very good. A couple of times
we got confused by the landscape and lost track of the boat. Not a
huge deal, we just had one of the group surface and locate the boat,
but I'd much rather have a better way of finding the boat.

I know there was at least one company that made an underwater sonar
bearing and range device that looked like a flashlight, but I can't
seem to find it anywhere. Anyone have a pointer to these devices,
and/or any experience with them?

Many thanks!
