I'm relatively new to diving, about 2 months and 12 dives so far. What I
was wondering is this. How much time should I be getting out of an alum 80 at say 2,900 lbs. ? I know this has a lot to do with depth and some other factors but so far I'm getting about 40 min. at 50' from my 80. Is this horrible or average for a new diver? I have a very "liberal" reg. What I mean is it delivers a lot of air when you breath in. Virtually NO restriction of breathing. I like that, it's like breathing on the surface. It's an older Sherwood I bought used, called a "Blizzard/Magnum" I think it's about 10 years old or so. Thanks for the help, Shawn |
