My wife has always had a hard time equalizing - but after she got past
the first 30 feet she would be fine. We recently returned from a live
aboard trip where by the end of the week she was having to work to
equalize down to 60 feet.

Several people on the boat offered her differant prescriptino meds to
try, which seemed to help. Her doctor doesn't know much about diving
issues, but offered to write her a script if whe found something whe
would like to try.

This does not appear to be cold related - she even has a hard time
clearing in a plane at times.

Any recomendations ???
